My name is Olga Neuymina. I work as a tour guide in Saint Petersburg since 2017, and I love this job!
But I didn't always work as a guide. Life is quite a curious thing, and you never know what it is going to offer you the next moment.
So I have a master degree in mechanics. I worked for 15 years for different Saint Petersburg TV channels starting as a reporter. Then I was an anchor, a scriptwriter, a series producer and finally an executive producer of an everyday tv show. Then 2014 came: the economic crisis in Russia, the tv show was closed. I lost my job.
It was time to recall some old dreams. One of them was the dream of being a guide. So here am I! I graduated from one of the best guides' schools in Saint Petersburg, got the city government accreditation, city museums' licences and started to work!
I realized instantly, that I was in my place! Every tour for me is an incredible adventure and a unique possibility to meet wonderful people! And I hope my guests leave Saint Petersburg with warm memories! (I can boast, that I was once honoured to be mentioned in TASTE magazine).
Oh! I forgot to say. I love English ( I've learned it since the age of 5). I love French and studied it at the Institut Français à Saint-Pétersbourg. And I am a big photography lover. So all the photos, you see here (all but these three - they were done by my tourists), were taken by me.
In 2020, I started my studies in art history at St. Petersburg Fine Arts Academy. This is the oldest arts institution in Russia, and I sit on the benches where Ilya Repin, Ivan Aivazovsky or James Whistler used to sit during their studies there. And that means that my view of the beauty of St. Petersburg is a bit more profound now.
I will be happy to show you my gorgeous city, which (I am sure) is one of the most beautiful and outstanding metropolises in the world!

I understand that today the words "travel safety" have assumed a new sense. That is why I do take care about the safety of my guests:
- There will be no 'strangers' on your tour.
- You will be provided with masks and hand sanitizers whenever needed.
- Wipes and additional jar of sanitizer will be in a private car or a private bus.
- And the vehicles themselves will be clean and disinfected.
- We'll use headsets, so that you could hear me even at a distance.
- I'll do my best to escape the crowds.
- And, of course, you should always ask for additional safety measures if you feel so.

I am quite a friendly person. People say I always smile - which is untypical for Russians, I must confess! But I love smiling, I love to laugh, I appreciate good jokes. And I love my tourists. I am convinced, that my tourists are the most welcomed guests here, so smiles and hospitality are the "must-have"!
And I work with all ages, from zero to 94! ( I haven't had more elderly tourists so far, so 94 y.o. are a record!) Kids are always welcome!

You will find a comprehensive travel assistant through me:
- I will make you a program of your tour and will be your private guide.
- I will organize private transportation in a comfortable vehicle (a minivan, a private bus or a private car of any class needed) with the experienced driver. Most often - the one I know personally.
- I can organize a transfer from and to the airport, railway station, etc. in case you need it.
- I can help you to choose a hotel, in case you have any doubts or questions about the location, service, etc.
- I will organize pre-cooked meals in a local restaurant for larger groups (6 persons +), in case you decide it is necessary. Different variants of the menu, taking into account any restrictions, are always discussed with you, so you select the one you prefer
- I will buy all the museum tickets in advance. I will help you with the ballet or theatre tickets, the draw bridges boat ride, or some extraordinary event like a piano concert on one of the city's roofs.
